जलतरणपटू ओम जवळी यांनी १ किलोमीटर पोहण्याच्या स्पर्धेत पटकावले प्रथम क्रमांक
सिंधुदुर्ग येथे दिनांक 17 व 18 डिसेंबर 2022 रोजी संपन्न झालेल्या दिव्यांगाकरिता आयोजित सामुद्रिक जलतरण स्पर्धेत पंडित नेहरू पदवी पूर्व महाविद्यालयाचा जलतरणपटू ओम जूवळी याने एक किलोमीटर पोहणे स्पर्धेत प्रथम क्रमांक प्राप्त केला आहे.
सदर स्पर्धा महाराष्ट्र स्टेट एमएच्युअर ऍक्वेटीक असोसिएशन संचलित सिंधुदुर्ग जिल्हा जलतरण यांच्यातर्फे आयोजित करण्यात आली होती .यावेळी विविध राज्यातून आलेल्या सुमारे 350च्या वर जलतरण स्पर्धकांनी भाग घेतला होता.
तर या स्पर्धेमध्ये पंडित नेहरू पदवी पूर्व महाविद्यालयाचा होतकरू विद्यार्थी ओम जूवळी याने सुवर्ण पदक मिळवून सुयश संपादन केले आहे. त्याने मिळविलेल्या यशाबद्दल त्याचे सर्वत्र अभिनंदन होत आहे.
तसेच महाविद्यालयाच्या प्राचार्या ममता पवार यांनी पुष्पगुच्छ देऊन पुढील स्पर्धेकरिता शुभेच्छा दिल्या आहेत .तसेच संस्थेचे सचिव प्रकाश नंदीहळी व क्रीडाशिक्षक के एल शिंदे तसेच शिक्षक वृंद यांचे मोलाचे मार्गदर्शन लाभत आहे.
