बेळगांव ता,31.सार्वजनिक शिक्षण खात्याच्या वतीने आयोजित बेळगाव जिल्हास्तरीय हँडबॉल स्पर्धेत प्राथमिक मुलांचे व माध्यमिक मुला-मुलीचे विजेतेपदासह संत मीरा शाळेने तिहेरी मुकुट संपादन करीत उल्लेखनीय कामगिरी केली आहे
मच्छे येथील डिव्हाईन मर्सी शाळेच्या मैदानावर
बेळगाव ग्रामीण तालुका रेंज व डिवाइन मर्सी इंग्रजी माध्यम शाळा पिरनवाडी आयोजित जिल्हास्तरीय हँडबॉल स्पर्धेत प्राथमिक मुलांच्या गटातील अंतिम लढतीत संत मीरा बेळगांव शहाराने बेळगाव ग्रामीण तालुक्याला 3-2 अशा फरकाने पराभव करीत विजेतेपद पटकाविले विजयी संघाच्या श्रेयश खांडेकरने 2गोल सोहेल बिजापूर व श्रेयस किल्लेकर यांनी प्रत्येकी 1 गोल केला.
माध्यमिक मुलांच्या गटातील अंतिम लढतीत संत मीरा शाळेने गुंजी हायस्कूल खानापूर संघाचा 2-1 असा पराभव केला. विजयी संघाच्या लिंगेश नाईक, अभिषेक गिरीगौडरने यांनी प्रत्येकी 1 गोल केले. मुलींच्या गटातील अंतिम लढतील संत मीरा बेळगाव शहरने सौंदत्ती तालुक्याचा 3-0 असा पराभव केला. विजयी संघाच्या कर्णधार समीक्षा बुद्रुकने 2 गोल,तर साक्षी पाटीलने 1गोल केला. आता शुक्रवार ता 1 सप्टेंबर रोजी धारवाड येथे होणाऱ्या विभागीय स्पर्धेसाठी बेळगाव जिल्ह्याचा संघ म्हणून संत मीरा शाळेचा संघ प्रतिनिधित्व करणार आहेत.
प्रसंगाला क्रीडा शिक्षक चंद्रकांत पाटील मयुरी पिंगट शिवकुमार सुतार यश पाटील यांचे मार्गदर्शन लाभत आहे तर संस्थेचे अध्यक्ष परमेश्वर हेगडे प्रशासक राघवेंद्र कुलकर्णी मुख्याध्यापिका सुजाता दप्तरदार उपमुख्याध्यापिका ऋतुजा जाधव व इतर शिक्षकांचे प्रोत्साहन लाभत आहे.
