कर्नाटकातील दुष्काळी स्थितीचा आढावा घेण्यासाठीआलेल्या केंद्रीय पथकाने बेळगाव जिल्ह्याला भेट देऊन पिकांच्या नुकसानीची पाहणी करून माहिती घेतली.
बेळगाव जिल्ह्यातील बैलहोंगल तालुक्यातील कलकुप्पी,सोमनट्टी गावांना केंद्रीय पथकाने भेट दिली.शेतात जावून अधिकाऱ्यांनी शेतकऱ्यांशी संवाद साधून माहिती घेतली.यावेळी शेतकऱ्यांनी गाजर,सोयाबीन,भुईमूग आदी पिकांची माहिती दिली.
शेतातील वाळून गेलेली पिके दाखवून शेतकऱ्यांनी आपली व्यथा केंद्रीय पथकाच्या समोर मांडली.केंद्र कृषी आणि शेतकरी कल्याण खात्याचे संयुक्त सचिव अजितकुमार साहू यांच्या नेतृत्वाखालील केंद्रीय पथकाने बेळगाव जिल्ह्यातील अन्य गावांना भेटी देऊन दुष्काळी परिस्थितीचा आढावा घेतला.केंद्रीय पथकाच्या समवेत कर्नाटक सरकारच्या कृषी खात्याचे वरिष्ठ अधिकारी,बेळगावचे जिल्हाधिकारी आणि जिल्ह्यातील वरिष्ठ अधिकारी पाहणीच्या वेळी उपस्थित होते.
