मराठा मंडळ पॉलिटेक्निक इन असोसिएशन विथ रिसायकल अर्थ फाउंडेशन आणि कर्नाटक सरकार यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमानने
कचरा व्यवस्थापन आणि अपसायकलिंग प्रक्रियेच्या अर्थव्यवस्थेचा एक भाग म्हणून 2 ऑक्टोबर ते 7 ऑक्टोबर दरम्यान “प्लास्टिक कचरा संकलन मोहीम” आयोजित केली आहे.
यावेळी कार्यक्रमात बोलताना प्राचार्य आर एस सूर्यवंशी यांनी आपले मनोगत व्यक्त केले .सदर कार्यक्रम यशस्वी करण्यासाठी श्रीमती ए पी तोरवी उपप्राचार्या आणि समन्वयक सी एस देशपांडे यांचा सहभाग होता.
तसेच हा कार्यक्रम विद्यार्थ्यांसाठीही एक डोळे उघडणारे होते यावेळी विद्याथांनी सर्वाधिक प्लास्टिक कचरा गोळा केला. आणि रिसायकल अर्थ फाउंडेशनला पाठवीला .यावेळी मराठा मंडळ ग्रुप ऑफ इन्स्टिट्यूटच्या अध्यक्षा डॉ.राजश्री नागराजू यांनी संस्थांमध्ये समाजोपयोगी उपक्रम राबविण्यास प्रवृत्त केले असल्याने हा कार्यक्रम यशस्वी झाला
