मॅरेथॉन स्पर्धेत 220 जणांनी घेतला सहभाग
विजेता स्पोर्ट्स व रोटरी क्लब ऑफ वेणू ग्राम यांच्यावतीने हिंडलगा येथे मॅरेथॉन स्पर्धेचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते सदर स्पर्धा ही रविवार दिनांक 10 सप्टेंबर रोजी पार पडली यावेळी या स्पर्धेमध्ये जवळपास 220 जणांनी सहभाग घेतला.
यामध्ये जेष्ठ नागरिकांचा सहभाग देखील लक्षनीय होता प्रारंभि कलमेश्वर मंदिर मैदानावर कर्नल मोहन नाईक यांच्या हस्ते मॅरेथॉनचे उद्घाटन करण्यात आले.
यावेळी गावातील सर्व विद्यार्थ्यांनी या स्पर्धेमध्ये भाग घेतला होता. ग्रामीण भागातील खेळाडूंना त्यांच्या कौशल्याला वाव देण्याकरिता विजेता स्पोर्ट्स चे प्रमुख चंद्रकांत कडोलकर यांनी या मॅरेथॉन स्पर्धेचे आयोजन केले होते. यावेळी रोटरी क्लब ऑफ वेणू ग्रामचे अध्यक्ष रोहन कदम यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती यावेळी मॅरेथॉन स्पर्धेला होती.
यावेळी विविध वयोगटातील विजेत्यांना मान्यवरांच्या हस्ते प्रमाणपत्र आणि रोख रक्कम देऊन सन्मानित करण्यात आले यावेळी बेळगाव अथलेटिक असोसिएशनचे सचिव अशोक शेंद्रे ,नागेश मडिवाळ, अरुण नाईक, चित्रपट निर्माते राजेश लोहार,चित्रपट दिग्दर्शक संतोष सुतार हिंडलगा ग्रामपंचायत सदस्य रामचंद्र कुद्रेमणीकर यांच्यासह यांनी उपस्थित होते.
